Summary:  Support in the design and development of new products and modify and improve existing products by performing the following duties:

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following.  Other duties may be assigned.

  • Test and evaluate designs and provide product specifications or test data as required.
  • Read test schedules, test requests, production and performance specifications, wiring diagrams, and schematics to determine testing procedure and equipment to be used.
  •  Plan and perform product testing including putting together test systems for DOEs and design validation.
  •  Write and modify test code for design validation.
  •  Inspect design parts and work with Design Engineering team to validate the parts meet the engineering requirements.
  •  Work with Design Engineering team to design printed circuit boards from a schematic for use in new and existing products.
  •  Under direction of Engineering Leader, requisition parts, supplies, services and tooling as needed.
  •  Analyze CCAs for root cause and develop corrective action response.
  •  Complete CCA correction action and submit to Leader for approval.
  •  Analyze test data and reports to determine if design meets functional and performance specifications.
  •  Provide Sales Department with special design/price requests (SD?PRs).
  •  Accept or reject parts, assemblies and/or tooling.
  •  Provide technical support to internal customers.

 Minimum Requirements:

  •  Associates Degree in Technology from a two-year college or technical school.
  • Three five years related experience or training.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Technology a plus.
